Overview

Process analytical technology (PAT) has been widely adopted in the biopharmaceutical industry. A desired goal of the PAT framework is to design and develop well-understood processes that will consistently ensure a predefined quality.

In this webinar we will demonstrate how the FlowVPE Slope Spectroscopy System, when directly integrated in one or more locations of a process stream, has helped reveal process characteristics that until now have been hidden due to the limitations of the most commonly used online fixed pathlength UV-Vis solutions.

Variable Pathlength Technology (VPT) has revolutionized the in-line measurement of concentration by delivering rapid and highly accurate real-time results on the widest range of samples and concentrations (from less than 1 mg/mL to over 300 mg/mL).

In this webinar you’ll learn:

  • What is Variable Pathlength Technology and how it differs from traditional UV-Vis techniques and equipment
  • Overview of the FlowVPE System and its benefits:
  • - Increase process understanding
    - Improve cycle time and reduces IPC testing efforts
    - Ensure high quality and highly reproducible results
  • Review FlowVPE implementation in multiple workflow applications: continuous chromatography, capture and polish chromatography, ultra-filtration/diafiltration and formulation
Who should attend:
  • Analytical Development Scientists
  • Process Development Scientists
  • Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Scientists
  • Manufacturing Operations
