Overview

The composition of pharmaceutical tablets and the distribution of ingredients therein can be determined using chemical imaging by vibrational microscopy. Doing so provides valuable information for manufacturing, troubleshooting, and counterfeit analysis.

Until recently, the applicability of vibrational microscopy was limited by the extensive analysis time necessary to obtain high-resolution chemical images. Now, with the maturity and commercialization of QCL-based IR laser imaging, complete tablets can be analyzed in a matter of minutes.

With this technology, highest spatial resolution may be paired with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, providing a reliable, fast method to evaluate and visualize particle size and component distribution.

In this webinar you’ll learn how to analyze samples using FTIR with QCL microscopy to save time by utilizing a single platform, without sacrificing reliability or accuracy.

Who should attend:

  • Those in a quality control and/or manufacturing environment
  • Those looking to identify contaminants in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Those wishing to combine FTIR and QCL in one platform for faster analysis and retain accurate and fast analysis
