Glycopyrrolate belongs to the group of parasympatholytics. The active substance inhibits the transmission of neuronal stimuli at cholinergic receptors. In this connection it leads to decreased secretion in different organs. It is used for the treatment of intestinal colics, the reduction of the amount of gastric juice and for reduction of secretions.
