Description
Doxazosin mesylate is a selective α-blocker that selectively binds to α1-receptors, thus dilating peripheral blood vessels. This reduces blood pressure and cholesterol levels of the serum. It is therefore used for benign prostatic hyperplasia and arterial hypertension.
