Description
Droxidopa belongs to catecholamines and is a prodrug. It passes through the blood-brain barrier and is converted to the messenger substance norepinephrine. This can address a norepinephrine deficiency in the brain, the freezing symptom (freezing of movement), a dopamine β-hydroxylase deficiency as well as orthostatic circulatory regulation disorders.
