Pharmaceutical Particle Counters

Particle counters are designed to measure the number of particles of a substance within a measured volume of air, or to measure for particles present on surfaces within controlled environments.

Aerosol particle counters are primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry to determine the air quality by counting and sizing the number of particles in the air. This information is useful in determining the quantity of particles inside a building or in the ambient air. It also is useful in understanding the cleanliness level in a controlled environment such as a cleanroom.

Types of particle counters include, remote particle counters, ranifold particle counters and hand-held particle counters.
