SNBL USA, the experts in primate research, today announced the appointment of Tina Rogers, PhD, MBA as the director of Safety Assessment. In this position Dr. Rogers will assume responsibility for all facets of the Safety Assessment department. She will manage day-to-day operations of the department to ensure continued operational and scientific excellence and work directly with the executive management team to formulate and direct current and long-range strategic plans, objectives and policies to support sponsors with the highest level of compliance and efficiency.
With over 20 years of industry experience Dr. Rogers is well-versed in providing preclinical drug development services to biopharma, NIH and DoD. Prior to joining SNBL USA, she has held various leadership positions including, executive vice president and director of Research at MPI Research and vice president of Drug Development at Southern Research Institute. Dr. Rogers holds a PhD in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Pathobiology from the Medical University of South Carolina, an MBA from Auburn University and is a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology. She is also an author/coauthor of numerous scientific publications and presentations.
