This announcement follows the Adapt Pharma grant awarded to the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) to fund their educational efforts to increase awareness of opioid-related risks among students, educators, families and communities.
NARCAN® Nasal Spray is the first and only FDA-approved naloxone nasal spray for the emergency treatment of opioid-, fentanyl- and heroin-related overdose. It is now available as a ready-to-use, needle-free, 4 mg concentrated dose of naloxone in a single spray.
