Hansa Biopharma Announces Restructuring and Layoffs

Apologies for the oversight. Let me provide the conversion for you:

Hansa Biopharma has announced its intention to undergo organizational restructuring with a primary focus on aligning with key clinical development and commercial priorities. The proposed restructuring aims to reduce the current workforce by approximately 20-25%, resulting in annual savings of around 75-85 million Swedish Kronor (SEK) when implemented. At the current exchange rate, this would be approximately 8.6-9.7 million US Dollars (USD). The restructuring plan is contingent upon negotiations with relevant trade unions.

As part of this initiative, Hansa will inform the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and engage in consultations with trade unions to discuss the reorganization. Decisions pertaining to employee reductions will be made following the conclusion of change consultations following local regulations.
