Seegene Attains ISO45001 Certification, Bolstering Occupational Health and Safety Standards

Seegene Inc. (KQ096530), a prominent South Korean company specializing in comprehensive PCR molecular diagnostics solutions, proudly announced the successful attainment of ISO45001 certification on December 27.

The ISO 45001 standard, established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2018, defines the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This certification is a testament to Seegene's commitment to maintaining a robust occupational health and safety management system in line with global standards.

The evaluation process for ISO45001 involves stringent assessments based on international standards. By securing this certification, Seegene demonstrates its adherence to a comprehensive occupational health and safety management system.

The British Standards Institution (BSI), founded in 1901 as the world's first national standards body, conducted a thorough examination of Seegene's eligibility for the ISO45001 certification.

Nine facilities operated by Seegene have been certified for successfully implementing management systems that align with global occupational health and safety standards.

With two decades of dedicated research experience in syndromic PCR technologies, Seegene's expertise became particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company played a pivotal role by providing over 340 million COVID-19 tests across more than 100 countries worldwide.
