Catalent has launched a sweeping corporate transformation as it confronts regulatory hurdles and positions itself for future growth. The company announced a bold new corporate brand aimed at elevating customer service and cementing its commitment to “championing the missions that matter,” reflecting a renewed focus on helping partners deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
This strategic rebranding arrives during a turbulent period for Catalent, recently marked by FDA compliance setbacks tied to key manufacturing facilities. Such regulatory challenges have created obstacles for clients, including the delayed approval of Regeneron’s Eylea HD and other major therapies. Catalent’s transition to private ownership under Novo Holdings in late 2024 further set the stage for these structural changes, culminating in the relocation of its global headquarters to Tampa, Florida.
According to CEO Alessandro Maselli, the new brand underscores Catalent’s “Patient First” philosophy and its dedication to supporting customers' missions as core drivers of innovation. The company's new look and messaging, launched at prominent industry events this week, will gradually extend across more than 40 Catalent sites worldwide—while maintaining uninterrupted service to clients. Over the past decade, Catalent has enabled the development and manufacturing of products behind half of all FDA approvals and manages over 1,000 active development programs annually.
As Catalent embraces its refreshed identity and operational overhaul, the company signals its intent to overcome regulatory headwinds and reaffirm its role as a trusted partner for pharma, biotech, and consumer health innovators moving forward.
