AbbVie Q3 2025 Revenue Rises 9%, Lifts Guidance Amid Immunology and Neuroscience Growth

AbbVie Inc. reported third-quarter 2025 financial results surpassing Wall Street expectations, driven by robust sales in immunology and neuroscience, even as sales of Humira continued to decline due to biosimilar competition. The company posted net revenues of $15.78 billion for the quarter, an increase of 9.1% on a reported basis and 8.4% operationally compared with the prior year. Adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at $1.86, beating both analyst consensus and the company’s own guidance. On a GAAP basis, diluted EPS was $0.10, reflecting an 88.6% year-over-year decline due primarily to a $1.50 per share impact from expenses related to acquired in-process R&D and milestones.

Strong double-digit growth from immunology brands Skyrizi and Rinvoq offset a 36% year-over-year drop in Humira sales, as the newer drugs generated revenues of $4.71 billion and $2.18 billion respectively. Neuroscience contributed $2.84 billion, up 20.2%, buoyed by products like Vraylar and Botox Therapeutic. The oncology business posted $1.68 billion in revenue, reflecting a slight decline, while the aesthetics segment fell 3.7% amid market headwinds.

Citing the quarter’s momentum, AbbVie raised its full-year 2025 adjusted EPS guidance range to $10.61–$10.65. The company also announced a 5.5% dividend increase for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to returning value to shareholders.
