Oxford BioTherapeutics announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Bristol Myers Squibb to discover and develop novel T-cell engager therapies targeting solid tumors. The partnership combines OBT’s proprietary OGAP®‑Verify discovery and validation platform with Bristol Myers Squibb’s oncology expertise to advance new immuno‑oncology treatment candidates.
Under the terms of the agreement, OBT will identify and validate tumor-selective targets using OGAP®‑Verify and design next-generation T-cell engager molecules with optimized development profiles. Bristol Myers Squibb will lead subsequent development and commercialization activities. OBT will receive an upfront payment, inclusive of research funding, and may be eligible for milestone payments and royalties on future net sales. Financial details were not disclosed.
OBT’s OGAP®‑Verify platform uses high-sensitivity molecular profiling to identify unique cancer targets suitable for antibody-based therapeutic development. The collaboration represents OBT’s third major pharmaceutical partnership within the past year, following agreements with GSK and Roche, underscoring growing industry validation of its platform’s potential in oncology innovation.
“Collaborating with Bristol Myers Squibb, a global leader in oncology, marks an important milestone for OBT and highlights the continued momentum of our partnerships,” said Christian Rohlff, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of OBT. “By combining our discovery capabilities with Bristol Myers Squibb’s translational expertise, we aim to accelerate the development of differentiated T-cell engagers that could meaningfully impact patient outcomes in solid tumors.”
The partnership further positions OBT as an emerging force in advancing immuno‑oncology and Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC)‑based therapies through precision target discovery.
