Lonza, InduPro Sign Licensing Deal to Advance Next-Generation ADCs

Lonza and InduPro have entered a licensing agreement that will allow InduPro to use Lonza’s antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) technologies to advance its oncology pipeline. Under the deal, Lonza, through an affiliated company, will grant InduPro a non-exclusive, worldwide license to its GlycoConnect, HydraSpace and linker-payload technologies for the development of ADCs targeting up to two oncology antigens. The agreement is intended to support the development of highly targeted cancer therapies by pairing InduPro’s discovery work with established bioconjugation platforms.

InduPro plans to combine its proprietary proximity-guided bispecific antibody capabilities with Lonza’s ADC platform, which includes GlycoConnect, HydraSpace and SYNtecan E. By integrating these technologies, the companies aim to create differentiated approaches for treating cancers and other complex diseases where precise targeting and efficacy are key concerns.

Executives from both organizations said the collaboration is designed to strengthen the potential of InduPro’s oncology programs and broaden access to Lonza’s ADC technologies. They noted that the partnership focuses on developing bispecific ADCs that can improve selectivity and widen therapeutic windows, with the goal of delivering new treatment options for patients with hard-to-treat tumors.
