Natoli Engineering Company has acquired Scheu & Kniss, adding a long-established provider of tablet press replacement parts, turret manufacturing, machine rebuilding, and technical support to its operations.
Scheu & Kniss brings more than 100 years of experience serving pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, confectionery, and industrial tablet manufacturers. Natoli said the transaction is intended to expand its capabilities while maintaining uninterrupted service for customers worldwide.
Both companies supply components and services that help tablet manufacturers manage aging equipment, increasing production demands, and efficiency pressures. By combining their operations, Natoli aims to offer more comprehensive lifecycle support for tablet compression equipment, covering tooling, parts, engineering services, and rebuilds.
Natoli indicated that customers will continue working with their existing contacts and teams, with no disruption to manufacturing, order fulfillment, customer service, or current business relationships as integration begins. The combined organization will provide an enlarged portfolio of tablet compression solutions, backed by broader manufacturing capacity and technical resources.
Natoli’s existing offerings include premium tablet tooling, replacement parts, tablet presses, turret manufacturing, machine rebuilding, engineering support, analytical services, technical training, and preventive maintenance. These services will remain available through all Natoli locations, now augmented by Scheu & Kniss capabilities.
Company leadership framed the acquisition as part of a continued commitment to engineering support that helps manufacturers improve productivity, maximize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and extend the useful life of tablet presses.
