GSK has appointed Tina Graves as president and general manager of its Canadian operations, placing her in charge of the company’s strategy across specialty medicines, vaccines and general medicines in the market.
Graves will lead efforts to address health needs in respiratory disease, immunology, oncology, HIV and infectious diseases, according to GSK. The company said her leadership will support efforts to broaden access to innovative medicines and vaccines for Canadian patients.
A Canadian native, Graves brings 22 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, including prior work in Canada and leadership roles across Taiwan, the Asia-Pacific region and global operations.
Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager of GSK Taiwan. In that role, she led a team of more than 300 people focused on delivering vaccines, specialty medicines and oncology treatments.
Graves began her industry career in 2004 and has held positions at Pfizer in Canada as well as a range of roles at GSK. Her experience includes vaccines, specialty care and primary care.
Mike Crichton, president of GSK International, said Graves is known for navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering results. He said her focus on patients, innovative-medicine access, inclusive workplace culture and development of emerging talent would support GSK’s Canadian organization.
Graves said she plans to combine global experience with local healthcare knowledge in an effort to address challenges facing Canadian patients. She said GSK’s mission to prevent and treat disease aligns with her commitment to making a tangible difference for patients.

GSK said Graves has a record of building and leading high-performing teams while advancing patient-focused solutions in complex environments.
She earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from McMaster University. The company said she is also interested in patient-focused pharmaceutical leadership and advancing women in the workplace.
