CPHI Frankfurt will introduce three new zones in 2027 dedicated to nutraceuticals, laboratory & analytical equipment and cosmeceuticals. These new additions to the conference’s expanding exhibitor ecosystem meet growing visitor demand to see innovation and solutions in these key areas.
The three new zones provide focused platforms for specialist suppliers and solution providers, while helping pharmaceutical and biotech decision-makers connect more easily with relevant technologies, products and expertise.
“Pharma continues to evolve into new and adjacent areas, creating opportunities for companies with highly specialised products and expertise to play a bigger role within the pharmaceutical ecosystem,” said Tara Dougal, Event Director for CPHI Frankfurt.
“These new zones are a direct response to where we’re seeing demand grow across our community, from pharma-grade nutrition and efficacy-driven skincare to the advanced laboratory technologies underpinning R&D, manufacturing and quality.”
Introducing the new zones for 2027:
Nutraceuticals zone
As the boundaries between pharmaceuticals, supplements and medical nutrition continue to evolve, the new Nutraceuticals zone will provide a dedicated platform for finished-form nutraceutical manufacturers and solution providers operating to pharma-grade standards.
It responds to a growing interest across areas including metabolic health and weight management, brain health, sports nutrition, immunity and preventative health, alongside the continued rise of personalized nutrition.
The zone will connect exhibitors directly with pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical decision-makers sourcing medical nutrition and pharma-grade supplements, creating a focused environment for relevant partnerships and commercial opportunities.
Laboratory & Analytical Equipment zone
The Laboratory & Analytical Equipment zone will spotlight the critical role of laboratory and analytical technologies across pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, quality control and regulatory compliance.
The dedicated area will bring together equipment and technology providers in a pharma-specific environment, providing more direct access to relevant industry decision-makers.
Its launch comes as AI and automation transform laboratory workflows, regulatory and data-integrity requirements increase demand for compliant and traceable systems, and increasingly complex biologics and personalized medicines drive the need for more advanced analytical capabilities and high-precision technologies.
Cosmeceuticals zone
Reflecting the growing intersection between pharmaceutical science and skincare, including the rapid evolution of the injectables market, CPHI Frankfurt 2027 will also pilot a dedicated Cosmeceuticals zone, bringing together companies spanning ingredients, finished products, contract manufacturing and packaging solutions.
The initiative comes as consumer demand increasingly shifts towards efficacy-led, clinically supported skincare, with growing interest in proven active ingredients, preventative ageing and skin longevity, barrier care and dermocosmetic products sold through pharmacy and clinical channels.
The new focus area will provide a specialised platform for companies seeking to showcase developments in pharma-grade skincare and dermocosmetics to CPHI’s global audience. The pilot initiative will also help assess demand for the development of a fully established Cosmeceuticals zone at future events.
In its 37th year, CPHI Frankfurt 2027 will take place at Messe Frankfurt from 9th-11th November 2027, bringing together the global pharmaceutical community to explore the innovations and opportunities shaping development and manufacturing worldwide.
