Pfizer Raises 2026 Guidance on Q3 Results

Pfizer reported third-quarter 2026 revenues of $16.6 billion, relatively flat year-over-year on an operational basis. Reported diluted EPS was $0.56, and adjusted diluted EPS was $0.87. Reported net income was $3.2 billion, down 8% from $3.5 billion a year earlier.

Excluding contributions from Comirnaty and Paxlovid, revenues grew 7% operationally, while revenues of launched and acquired products grew 32% operationally. Growth was driven primarily by Eliquis, up $513 million operationally, Padcev, up $255 million, the Vyndaqel family, up $193 million, Nurtec ODT/Vydura, up $135 million, and Lorbrena, up $114 million. These gains were offset by declines for Paxlovid, down $771 million, Comirnaty, down $339 million, and the Prevnar family, down $180 million.

Pfizer raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance by $1.5 billion at the midpoint to a range of $62.0 to $64.0 billion and raised and narrowed adjusted diluted EPS guidance to a range of $2.95 to $3.05 from $2.80 to $3.00. The guidance includes a one-time $650 million Acquired In-Process R&D charge related to the Innovent Biologics in-licensing agreement recorded in the third quarter.

The company appointed Cecile Guegan Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, effective November 1. Recent pipeline progress includes eight pivotal study starts, one pivotal readout and two regulatory decisions, including FDA approvals for Talzenna in prostate cancer and Tukysa in HER2+ breast cancer.
