Peter Varlashkin received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). He has been employed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for over 22 years. He currently works in the Physical Properties group within GSK (RTP, NC, USA). He has published several papers on powder X-ray diffraction and is on
the organizing committee of the Pharmaceutical Powder X-ray Diffraction Symposia as well as a member of the International Centre for Diffraction Data.
