Wei Zhang received his B.S. degree in chemistry in 2011 from Peking University in China and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2016 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His thesis study focused on the material dependence of surface diffusion of amorphous organic solids. After getting his doctorate, Wei started as
a formulation scientist in Small molecule pharmaceutical sciences department of Genentech. His current research focuses on small molecule drug formulation development.
