Chris Antoniou has been a Distinguished Engineer at Biogen corporation for the last 13 years. He leads the Global Engineering Process Modeling Group focusing on process modeling and simulations, manufacturing analytics, development and implementation of new technologies and academia collaborations. Chris has more than 30 years of diversified experience in
product and process development in cGMP manufacturing and is a Subject Matter Expert in both upstream and downstream processing. He has expertise in the design of small and large-scale manufacturing facilities including single use facilities for antibody production and gene therapy. Chris has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College. He has a number of process and system design patents and numerous technical publications.
