Renate Kunert is full professor and chair of the Institute of Animal Cell Technology and Systems Biology at the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) at the BOKU University Vienna. The focus of her research group is the design of difficult-to-express proteins (e.g. CD19) and different antibody isotypes (IgG, IgM, IgA), to
establish and select high-producing cell lines and to optimize upstream bioprocesses for enhanced control of cellular physiology, improved yield and quality attributes.
