Description
Maisine® CC is an oily vehicle used to enhance the solubility and oral bioavailability of lipophilic drugs. It is a mixture of mono-, di- and triglycerides of oleic and linoleic acids (C18:1/C18:2), obtained from vegetable origin glycerol and refined corn oil, and winterized to remove certain saturated mono-, di- and triglycerides to ensure a clear liquid aspect at room temperature. It conforms to US and European monographs for Glyceryl Monolinoleate NF and Glycerol Monolinoleate EP, respectively.
