Description
EXPLOTAB®, sodium starch glycolate, is a superdisintegrant made from potato starch by carboxymethylation and crosslinking. It offers excellent formulation and commercial benefits to the pharmaceutical industry and demonstrates strong swelling properties upon contact with water and other media. This highly pure excipient retains its spheroid structure to promote good flow, contains little sodium chloride or ethanol, and has high brightness.
