Reserpine from Alfa Chemistry

Description

Reserpine is extracted from the root bore of the poison devil's-pepper (Rauvolfia vomitoria Afzel.). It belongs to the group of indolalkaloids and has antihypertensive effects. It is therefore used against high blood pressure.
