Norepinephrine bitartrate (also known as Noradrenaline) is a stress hormone that also acts as a neurotransmitter. It's a catecholamine that works on the adrenoceptors, which play an essential role in the flight reflex. The effect is similar to adrenaline, e.g. the blood pressure increases and the blood vessels are narrowed.
