Pharmaceutical Chromatography Sample Preparation

The objective of sample preparation is to extract concentrated analyte or analytes from a sample matrix. In a chromatographic method, the sample is often injected into the chromatograph in a homogeneous solution. Thus, in pharmaceutical chromatography, the final sample should be in liquid form to be injected. However, the initial sample can be in various forms (ie powder, wax, goo).
