COMPANY BACKGROUND
Gerald Brinker started Distek from his garage in 1976 as a modest business that manufactured dissolution equipment. Over the next four decades, Distek’s business has expanded to provide instruments for tests performed in pharmaceutical and bioprocessing laboratories offering innovation and support to companies on a global scale. Distek’s staff and operations have grown significantly in the area of bioprocessing, now offering ISO Class 7 Cleanroom for assembly of single-use technologies.

PRODUCTS, SERVICES & CAPABILITIES
Distek engineers highly innovative, technically modern, and user-friendly instruments that provide many innovative features to customers worldwide. These include: water bath and bathless dissolution, media preparation (heating, degassing, and dispensing), in-situ fiber optic UV, bathless tablet disintegration, and dissolution auto-sampling. Distek’s bioprocessing portfolio includes the BIOne single-use bioreactor for cell culture applications as well as the BIOne 1250, an innovative bioreactor control system for both mammalian and microbial models.
Distek holds several instrumentation and accessory patents and has been ISO certified since 2002, which promotes consistent service and continuous self-improvement with a focus on customer satisfaction.
