Pharmaceutical Friability Testers

Friability testers identify how much stress tablets are able to absorb during handling by a customer. Stress applied by patients can include actions such as pressure, rubbing, contact, and pill dropping. Friability testers are used throughout the pharmaceutical industry and measure the difference between the weight of the sample before and after the process in order to check the strength of uncoated tablets. All this is done to ensure the tablet does not lose any APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) and the medication is still completely effective for the patient.
