Description
Dronedaron hydrochloride is a benzofuran & Amiodarone derivative and blocks ion channels in the heart. This modulates the conduction of stimulus depending on the dose and therefore has an antiarrhythmic effect. It is used to maintain sinus rhythm. The effect is systemic, which is why Dronedarone brings some side effects.
