FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals U.S.A. Corporation is a manufacturer and global distributor of endotoxin detection products used in the quality control testing of injectable pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and sterile water. The FUJIFILM Wako line of reagents offers a wide variety of options to perform each of the three endotoxin detection assays: the gel clot assay, the kinetic turbidimetric assay (KTA) and the kinetic chromogenic assay (KCA), in addition to both Peptidoglycan and Beta Glucan testing. Their flagship series of FDA-licensed LAL reagents, known as PYROSTARTM ES-F, provides a simple, accurate platform for the detection of bacterial endotoxin. This endotoxin-specific LAL reagent is accompanied by a suite of complementary consumables, instrumentation, software, and specialty products to offer a complete solution for your endotoxin testing needs.
COMPANY BACKGROUND
After establishing a sales office in Dallas, Texas, in 1981, FUJIFILM Wako grew significantly in the U.S. and in 1989, relocated their corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility to Richmond, Virginia. In 2012, they culminated three decades of research and development to launch the PYROSTARTM ES-F series into the global markets.
