Pharmaceutical Encapsulation Equipment

Encapsulators, also referred to as capsule fillers, are machines used for industrial and pharmaceutical purposes to fill empty soft or hard gelatin capsules. The capsules can be of various sizes and be filled with various powders, granules, semi-solids or liquid substances containing active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) or a mixture of active drug substances and excipients. This process of filling empty capsules with substances is referred to as encapsulation. Encapsulators are available in manual, semi-automatic, and automatic model types and can fill from just a few capsules to several thousand per hour.
