Description
Azathioprine belongs to the group of immunosuppressants. The active substance is converted into its active metabolites, which inhibits the DNA/RNA synthesis and thus the multiplication of the B and T cells. It is used for the treatment of e.g. arthritis, Crohn's disease and for preparation for transplants.
