Tablet Dedusters

A tablet deduster is a piece of pharmaceutical processing equipment that removes dust from the surface of tablets. These machines can be linked directly to a high-speed tablet press.

There are several popular styles of tablet deduster on the market, including, spiral dedusters and uphill dedusters

Spiral dedusters vibrate tablets on a spiral path with a perforated sieve while elevating dedusters vibrate tablets up hill-type sieves.

These machines remove a layer of surface dust and can even smooth edges of tablet, a process known as deburring. Dust is collected by a an extraction system through a hose pipe spigot connection while tablets fall into a container.
