Ruth Leinenbach has been promoted to Director of MEGGLE’s Business Group Excipients & Technology. She is replacing Dr. Egmont Pfeifer who was appointed to the Management Board of MEGGLE last year. Leinenbach is now responsible for the whole Business Group Excipients & Technology at the headquarters of MEGGLE in Wasserburg and locations all over the world.
Leinenbach joined MEGGLE in 1998 and started her career in the raw material purchasing department. In 2001 she joined the Excipients & Technology Business Group where she worked as a sales manager. Leinenbach was responsible for a growing number of countries and regions, including South America and Mexico.
With this background, she was chosen to open a regional office for Latin America in São Paulo, Brazil. As General Manager she was able to achieve steady growth in this region. After five years in Brazil she returned in 2017 to Wasserburg, Germany.
“I’m really glad to be back in Wasserburg again in this demanding and interesting position,” Leinenbach said. “With all my experience I will do my best to secure and further strengthen the international success of the Excipients & Technology Business Group in the coming years.”
