Johnson & Johnson Announces Lead Vaccine Candidate for COVID-19, Partners with HHS

Johnson & Johnson announced the selection of a lead COVID-19 vaccine candidate from constructs it has been working on since January 2020; the expansion of the existing partnership between the Janssen Pharmaceutical of Johnson & Johnson and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA); and the rapid scaling of the Company's manufacturing capacity with the goal of providing global supply of more than one billion doses of a vaccine. Read more...

FDA Releases SARS-CoV-2 Reference Grade Sequence Data

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. The President of the United States declared a national emergency on March 13, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. Bosch Developing COVID-19-(SARS-CoV-2) Rapid Testing Kit for Vivalytic Platform

Bosch is currently working on the development of a COVID-19 rapid testing kit for the Vivalytic platform and will launch this in April 2020. The Vivalytic VRI test (Viral Respiratory Tract Infections) checks the patient's sample for the SARS CoV-2 virus, which can lead to COVID-19, as well as nine other possible viral respiratory diseases. Read more...
