Skyhawk Therapeutics announced the appointment of Aaron Deves as Chief Commercial Officer. Deves brings more than three decades of experience leading launches of central nervous system (CNS) therapies, including treatments for Huntington’s disease.
As CCO, Deves will lead Skyhawk’s global commercial strategy and prepare for the potential launch of SKY-0515, the company’s lead candidate for Huntington’s disease, which could receive accelerated approval in Australia within the next year and in other major markets by 2027. SKY-0515 is being developed as a potential disease-modifying therapy addressing the underlying cause of the condition.
“Aaron’s 30 years of experience building commercial teams and launching innovative neurological treatments will be invaluable as we prepare for the potential approval of SKY-0515,” said Bill Haney, CEO of Skyhawk Therapeutics.
Deves joins Skyhawk from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Senior Vice President, COO, and Head of Marketing for the U.S. Specialty Business, overseeing products including AUSTEDO® for chorea associated with Huntington’s disease. He previously held senior leadership roles at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer.
