Sandoz announced several senior leadership changes as the company continues to shape its organization following its separation as an independent generics and biosimilars business.
Pascal Bouye has been appointed President, Generics Manufacturing & Supply and will join the Sandoz Executive Committee, effective August 20. He succeeds Glenn Gerecke, who will step down from the executive committee and assume a new role within the company. Bouye brings more than 30 years of experience in global supply chain management from senior positions at Danone and Mars, where he led large teams through operational transformations in regulated consumer sectors.
In North America, President Keren Haruvi will assume additional responsibility for global mergers and acquisitions starting August 1, while retaining her regional leadership role. Haruvi previously served as Global Head of M&A at Novartis, where she led major strategic transactions and portfolio reshaping initiatives, and is expected to oversee Sandoz’s dealmaking as the company targets growth opportunities.
Sandoz also announced changes in its German operations. Simon Goeller, currently Global Head, Transformation & Growth and a member of the extended leadership team, has been appointed Country President, Germany, Sandoz’s second-largest market. Incumbent Germany head Thomas Weigold will become Head, Central Cluster, Europe. During recruitment for Goeller’s successor, Max Juerging, Global Head Transformation, Integration & Separation, will lead the Transformation & Growth team on an interim basis.
Chief Executive Officer Richard Saynor said the appointments reflect the strength of the leadership pipeline and are intended to position Sandoz to capture upcoming loss‑of‑exclusivity opportunities and expand access to affordable medicines.
