Septa Pharmaceuticals has acquired the rights to CeeNU (lomustine) from Bristol Myers Squibb Canada, effective June 29, 2026. CeeNU is an alkylating agent used in the treatment of certain brain tumors and Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
With this transaction, CeeNU will be added to Septa’s oncology product portfolio. The company said it intends to maintain access to lomustine for patients in Canada and is planning for ongoing supply of the medicine.
“As we integrate CeeNU (lomustine) into our portfolio, our focus is on patients and the medical professionals who treat them,” said Devinder K., President and CEO of Septa Pharmaceuticals Inc. “We are working with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and supply chain partners, to support a smooth transition.”
Septa stated that it aims to provide a stable supply of CeeNU and will continue coordinating with relevant parties to manage the handover and ongoing distribution of the product.
