PyroSmart NextGen™ : Sustainable LAL Recombinant Cascade Reagent (rCR)

Since 2011, ACC has had a growing commitment to taking a responsible role reducing the environmental footprint on our operations. From our Water Waste Reduction and Reuse Project, recyclable packaging, water based glues and vegetable based inks used for printing, we’re proud to partner with suppliers who share this commitment to collectively operate in a sustainable manner.

In 2018, ACC launched our unique Horseshoe Crab Sustainability Project, which was aimed at complementing our 45 year history of horseshoe crab conservation and to ensure a stable supply of horseshoe crabs now and for future generations to come.  Since its inception, the program has been expanded into Asia and to date has reared and released over 850,000 juvenile crabs into coastal waters.

To further complement our sustainability efforts, ACC is excited to announce that in 2021, we will be launching PyroSmart NextGen™, a Recombinant LAL Reagent.  Stay tuned for additional information on this exciting new product!
