Viatel™ Bioresorbable Polymers with High Molecular Weight Formulation from Ashland Inc.

Description

All viatel™ bioresorbable polymers can be custom produced for a tailored solution.

Viatel™ bioresorbable polymers are metabolized into non-toxic byproducts and are compatible with modern processing techniques like solvent-based processing, 3D printing, hot melt extrusion, and injection molding—making them ideal for both clinical and commercial scale-up.

Viatel™ polymers are intended to be used as components to create: bioresorbable implants, plates and screws for trauma and orthopedics; bioresorbable stents and device coatings for cardiovascular treatments; wider medical devices such as neural conduits, hernia meshes, dental and ophthalmic treatments; injectable hydrogels; hard (e.g., bone) and soft (e.g., skin) tissue regeneration scaffolds; wound closure devices, such as staples and sutures.
