Description
Acetylsalicylic acid is one of the most well-known and important medicines (listed as indispensable by the WHO since 1977). It has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and platelet-inhibiting effect. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
