Description
BD SMC4 is a small molecule cocktail made of specific signaling pathway inhibitors that can be used as a media additive to support the derivation of hiPS cells in feeder or feeder-free culture environments. Use of this cocktail increases efficiency of reprogramming, enhances clonality and tolerance to single cell and enables enzymatic passaging and use of fluorescent activated cell sorting of hiPS cells.
The BD SMC4 Cocktail consists of the following small molecules: PD0325901, CHIR99021, Thiazovivin, and SB431542. These molecules have been combined and formulated for ease of handling and use.(1 vial to supplement a 500 ml bottle of media)
