Andrew Sage, Ph.D., has more than fifteen years of experience with
rapid microbiology. Since 2009, Dr. Sage has served as the Manager
of Microbiology Applications focused on the implementation of
new methods for the Growth Direct System. He joined Rapid Micro
Biosystems in 2004 as principal scientist where he has worked
on a number of
projects associated with the development and
commercialization of the Growth Direct system. Previously Dr.
Sage worked at Millipore Corporation as a senior scientist in their
Bioprocess Division where he focused on ATP-bioluminescence and
peptide nucleic acid probe detection technologies. Andrew earned a
B.S. in biology from The College of William and Mary, and a doctorate
in microbiology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst .
